Stars, Stripes and Swinging Fore the Arts returns Saturday, July 25, to the Marysville Country Club.

This red, white and birdie kind of tournament is a 4-person scramble benefiting the Marshall County Arts Cooperative. Registration and breakfast begin at 8 a.m., announcements start at 9 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 9:30 a.m.

The cost is $100 per golfer or $400 per team and includes green fees, breakfast and lunch. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place in two flights, with flag prizes throughout the course. Patriotic costumes are encouraged.

The tournament helps MCAC keep the arts thriving in Marshall County, from special exhibits like the Joe Oswalt Exhibition at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art to concerts, countywide trivia nights, the Grand Ol’ Christmas Show and new performances and programs throughout the year.

The weekend starts Friday, July 24, with Stars, Stripes and Songs featuring Kayn & Co. at 7 p.m. at the Marysville Country Club.

Teams should register by July 17. Registration is available at marshallcountyarts.org. Checks may be made to MCAC and mailed to MCAC, PO Box 509, Marysville, KS 66508.
