The Marshall County Arts Cooperative will host a Battle of the Bands competition Sunday, July 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Marshall County Fairgrounds, Blue Rapids, Kan.

This event is a new addition to the Marshall County Fair.  It offers a platform for bands to showcase their talent, connect with new audiences and compete for cash prizes. The Battle of the Bands will take place right after the parade, ensuring a lively crowd.

Each participating band will have a 15-minute set to impress the judges and the audience. A professional sound system will be provided to ensure top-quality performances. The competition boasts impressive prizes, with $1,500 awarded for first place, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third place.

Eight bands are invited to join the competition.
